Kickboxing at Kicks Unlimited

Westcoast Kickboxing is back!  We currently have 2 classes--1 class at our Middleton location on Tuesday nights at 7:15pm and another class at our Fitchburg location on Thursday nights at 7:15pm. 

 

Each Westcoast kickboxing class is 45 minutes and will be sure to make you sweat!  Kickboxing has many benefits and is a great way to burn calories and fat, lose weight, and increase cardiovascular fitness.

  

All kickboxing classes will feature 3 main types of activity:

Cardio Kickboxing--Movements are done aerobically and without hitting a target.  This style of kickboxing utilizes various punches and kicks and focus on aerobically raising the heart rate.  A typical class will contain 10-15 minutes of this variety of kickboxing.
Sport kickboxing (bagwork)--This style of kickboxing gives participants the opportunity to hit a heavy bag.  Because kicks and punches and being targeted on a bag this style of kickboxing will work the muscles to an even higher degree as well as give participants the chance to improve self-defense skills. 
Conditioning--Each kickboxing class will feature general conditioning as well.  Classes typically consist of ab work, lower body conditioning and upper body conditioning.  By combining each of these activities participants may burn up to 800 calories per hour!
